Ali-Kila bows out as Jigawa Head of Sevice

The Jigawa State Head of the Civil Service (HoS), Alhaji Hussaini Ali-Kila, has retired from service after attaining the mandatory retirement years in service.

This is contained in a statement by Alhaji Ismail Ibrahim, Public Relations Officer (PRO), Office of the HoS in Dutse, on Friday.

Ibrahim said Ali-Kila rose to the top of the Civil Service in 1988 as an Education Officer in the old Kano state.

He added that the career progression of the retired HoS spanned virtually all the Ministries, Departments and Agencies of government.

This offered him deep and rich exposure to virtually all facets of public administration.

His personal integrity, drive, resourcefulness and dedication was usually sought after to handle sensitive assignments that required these qualities to bear.

The outgoing Head of the Civil Service was Permanent Secretary in July, 2011 also served as Clerk of the Jigawa State House of Assembly between 2015 and 2017.

The Administration of former Gov. Muhammad Badaru saw in him some inherent qualities and appointed him as Head of Service in 2018 and the present Administration of Gov. Umar Namadi retained him to help stabilise the new administration, he said.

The PRO added that Ali-Kila graduated from the Nigerian Languages Department at the Bayero University Kano in 1987.

The retired HoS handed over the affairs of the office to the Permanent Secretary, Directorate of Establishment, Alhaji Muhammad Dagaceri, pending the appointment of substantive Head of the Civil Service by the state government.
